2 MEDICS + ROWING BOAT
1 year & 5000 miles of ocean rowing in the world’s toughest rows
La Gomera to Antigua | December 2021
Around GB Row | May 2022
MORE THAN A TEST
From A&E to the Sea
With just over three months on dry land, having finished the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, Adam & Charlie are set to circumnavigate GB.
These two rows completely contrast each other making for one hell of a challenge to complete in the same year. The 3216 miles across the Atlantic were remote, sweltering, with very little wind & with few obstacles to crash into, except for the odd shark! Their circumnavigation of GB will see their navigational skills tested to the extreme with land within easy reach, cold, wet & gusty conditions plus the busiest shipping lanes in the world to contend with - not to mention the wind farms they need to avoid! This expedition also gives them a fantastic opportunity to continue fundraising for their frontline medical charities and push towards their £100,000 target.
WHO WE ARE
They are two sides of the same coin. Two Emergency Medicine doctors. A husband and wife team. Passionate about adventure and pushing mental and physical boundaries.
Meet Adam and Charlie.
